1. Where to Find Failed Orders
To locate any failed orders, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Orders Section: Open the app and go to the "Orders" section.
Access the Failed Orders Section: Within the Orders section, find and select the "Failed Orders" tab. This section lists all the orders that could not be successfully processed.
2. How to Check the Error Message
To understand why an order failed, you need to check the error message associated with it. Here’s how:
Click on the Order Number: In the Failed Orders section, find the specific order and click on its order number. This will open the detailed view of the order.
Review the Error Message: The detailed view will display the error message explaining why the order failed.
Common Reasons for Order Import Failures
App can’t find the product(s) in shopify
In most cases, orders fail due to discrepancies between the SKU or EAN in your marketplace and your Shopify store. Here’s what you need to do:
Check the SKU or EAN: Verify that the SKU or EAN for the ordered product is identical in both your marketplace and Shopify store.
Fix the Discrepancy: If there is a mismatch, update the SKU or EAN in either your Shopify store to ensure they match. This should resolve the issue and allow the order to sync properly.
Once you updated the sku / ean in shopifyImport the order you can now select the order in the marketplace connect app, and click the import into shopify action:
There is no inventory available in shopify
Add inventory to shopify: open the product inside shopify, and add inventory to the product, or enable the continue selling when out of stock function in the shopify product:
